This home’s original retaining wall was beginning to fall apart, so the homeowners hired us to build new ones and transform the backyard landscape architecture. We redesigned the layout, moving the stairs toward the center of the new natural stone retaining wall for easier pool and spa access. Concrete slabs are spaced out to form a walkway to the other side of the pool.

The stairs lead to a small greenspace area, where we built raised planting beds to help flatten the land and make this space more functional. Another set of stairs leads to the raised custom deck with a great view of the entire backyard. We added planting beds throughout the space to add beauty and color.

We built a modern yet rustic pavilion area home to a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and living room area. The built-in gas grill and cabinetry are stainless steel, encased with a natural wood look. Ceiling fans add a cool breeze whenever needed, while a concrete privacy screen makes the space discrete.
